What Is Live It OutLoud?
Live It OutLoud is an 8-week summer rock music program for musicians ages 12–18. Whether your teen plays guitar, bass, drums, keys, or sings, we place them in a band with other young musicians and a professional mentor. They rehearse together, write and arrange their set, record an album, and perform live at the end of the summer.

What Makes It Different?
- 8 weeks, not 5 days — this is a deep experience, not a drop-in camp
- Real bands — students are placed with peers at their level, not sorted by age
- Professional mentors — every band is guided by a working musician
- You record tracks in a pro studio — every year's bands record original music, released on Bandcamp
- Scholarships available — because everyone has the right to develop their talent
- Nonprofit — 100% of program revenue goes back into music education in our community
Who It's For
Live It OutLoud is for teens who already know the basics of their instrument or voice and are ready to take it further. If your kid has been taking lessons for a year or two and is itching to play with other people, this is the next step.
